Default Replacement front seat belt for a 1994 440

The front drivers seat belt latch has just started to play up. It will occasionally not lock on the first go but does on the second.

So I really need to replace it. Since it is now quite old I have not found a replacement stalk that would fit at the moment. My version seems to be fiitted to the side of the seat. It has the seat belt alarm on it.

Is there another model of volvo that I can use when replacing it.

Thanks

Presumably it is the version with the pre-tensioner?

Most of these you find in scrapyards unfortunately have been fired, which should then make them an MOT fail (although that seems to be a bit hit and miss).

AFAIK you will only be able to use a stalk from any 400 series car, not any other model of Volvo.

I don't have one spare (I threw mine as it was fired) but otherwise just a case of either someone on here able to help or watching ebay etc I'm afraid.

Thanks for the offer but found the part via a part search engine. Part now fitted took all of about 10 minutes.

Will put the web address on here when I gave permission. They only deal with Volvos and I had 24 hour delivery.
