Thanks Puffster!
Yep, treating those trims made a massive difference to the overall look of the car, and it took some time but was worth it. I also got out yesterday morning and wasn't happy with the finish from the course polish I used, so gave it another go over with BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish before sealing it, and it got even better! However after doing 150+ miles today with a mix of motorway and muddy country A roads, it looks terrible again already!!! Cheers, Nick |

And here's how it looked after those extra hours refining and sealing the paintwork...although you wouldn't know it now after almost two weeks and 1k miles through rain, snow, sleet, flooded and muddy country roads!!!

Slow puncture rather random in going up/down, so took it to Kwik-Fit yesterday. As I was pumping up said tyre, when I took the pump off air came rushing out, so put the nozzle back on and next time took it off, air didn't rush out. K-F couldn't find a puncture but got them to swap the valve out just in case, so will monitor & see what happens.

Not long had my XC70 D4 (1969cc Version). Really like it so far, especially comfort, 8 speed auto, and build quality. Fitted some GE 120% brighter H7 bulbs, so easy when you can extract a headlight in 5 minutes. Previous car (BMW) had LED headlights, which I missed.

Had my 2011 V70 D5 12 months nearly now and only done just under 8000 due to a number of reasons, usually do around 14000. Anyway did the first oil change today as the weather was good, Volvo filters, 0w30 castrol edge from Volvo and the while lot was still cheaper than the local motor factors with the discount. I did get some discount at Volvo!
Bought 4 new clips for the side skirts as they were missing around the jack points, need painting to blend in as there white and then putting on. There not visible but I will know. Car is now ready to cruise down the south of France in July, if I do enough miles maybe a pre trip oil change.
