Default S40 D3 2011 - what mobile phone holder ?

Hi Guys,
I have upgraded my old S40 2002, for an S40 D3 2011,
But I want to know what mobile phone holder you are all using, as I don't want to stick anything to my dash and don't want to damage the vents,
I have bought the kind that fits in the drinks holder, but it's in the way when I change gear or want to use the arm rest,
I have a Samsung S6, and mainly want to see it for the google sat nav

so looking for a better option for mobile phone holder

What kind do you use ?

I had a Brodit mount on my V50. clips on to the side of the dash so easily readable. They're pricey but well worth it. I have the dash mount one in my XC70 now.

I use this one by Samsung.

Fits well, I've used it on my Note 3, S6 Edge+ and now my Note 8 just fine.

+1 for the Brodit. I've got the "A" pillar mounted one and I've attached a Spegin magnetic mount, works a treat.

I have had various different types of mounts and the best one for me so far is this below, just a simple magnet on the back of the phone. You barely notice it on the phone or on the car and it sits in the centre just above the cd player and acts as a nice screen / sat nav when I need it

I've got a Mophie Juice Pack case in my iPhone, and a Charge fForce vent mount. It gives magnetic mounting and wireless charging in one. I've the USB wire hidden though the vent and down behind the waterfall. Easy to flip between portrait and landscape, and is exceptionally solid.

Get yourself one of these (may be available cheaper)

(2 Packs) Phone Mount, Mpow Air Vent Magnetic Phone Holder Grip Magic Mobile Phone Car Cradle Universal Car Mount for iPhone 7 6 6 Plus 5 Nexus 7 Samsung S7 S6 Note 5 4 Huawei P9 and other Smartphones https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01K6IE7..._0DEHAbRH3E878

Very strong , managed multiple laps around the nurburgring no issues, doesn't get much more taxing than that. Easy to move from car to car and the magnetic strip from phone to phone.

Another vote for the Brodit mount, which is on my center vent. It doesn't damage anything and provides a very secure mounting point. I'd previously tried both windscreen and dash-mount products with little success.
