Default Roof bars for V70 - compatibility across models.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a pair of roof bars for our V70 (P3 2008 model). Looking on eBay and Facebook Market Place throws up quite a few to fit various Volvo models, but I wonder which are compatible across models. For example, will those that fit P2 also fit P3? What about XC70, V60? I guess the profile of the longitudinal bars is a key factor. Anyone else been down this road please?

I have the correct Thule brackets in the boot of my P3 V70 to go with it to the new owner, I can check if they have a model number on them and post it up if that helps? They came from a chap on here with a similar age XC70 as I recall.

I need some for a V60 now

Thanks for that, I'd appreciate it. I got as far as printing the Volvo page from the 2021 Thule catalog this morning but received a high priority interrupt to do the Tesco click and collect so haven't looked at it yet.

Really? I'm sure I've had the same set of bars (Volvo supplied) through all three V70 phases.

But memory is an unreliable thing.

PS @Pidgeonpost - you asked 'what about XC70' - the XC70 is the same car as a V70, above the floorline, more or less. Higher suspension, plastic body panels, etc., but it's the same basic car (2WD/4WD variants notwithstanding)

Apologies for the rubbish photo, but this is from the Thule catalog which has a very small font.
