Weather here at Heriot was somewhat nasty last night. Herself woke up about 5 ft above the bed at one point after a terrible noise. Found out this morning that the bin had a bad attack of wind (teach me to try the cooking) and was lying on its side, trapped by the fence.

Yesterday's nice clean 960 is now a good example of best army European camouflage. 360dood is currently speaking to it with the Karcher.

The wind has died down and the rain has gone in for a cuppa!

Just the one car this time but hey - let's have a good day out. See all you survivors there (have TomTom and atlas to defeat the M8). Time now 1000 - and yes, I did remember!!

well i was a complete muppet, and turned up yesterday!!! lol! ill try and get over today as i had the cold last week,and slept right through last nights storm i may not be able to stay too long as ill need to pick up my daughter from my parents and my hubby from the pub, but ill be there.

the cars of the stars exhibition is alright, although not much to see and u have to pay an extra £2 if u want to take pics....i presume the saints volvo p1800 will be of interest though lol! starsky and hutches ford gran torino was my personal wet dream though! heehehehe! oh, and all the shops have closed down except for the kilt hire place, the bed linen place and a book shop.

Thanks to all who turned up today at Alexandria, for 'Cars of the Stars', the Volvo's in the car park were more exciting than the cars inside, and there were more of them !
Home baking was enjoyed once again, and it was good to see some new faces, thanks to thesloaneranger for turning up on both days.
November meeting not finalised yet, but ideas/venues, (preferably indoor), for the forthcoming winter meetings would be welcome.

thank you to everyone who made me feel most welcome - i had a great time im sorry my volvo knowledge is pretty minimal at the moment, but im sure ill pick up lots more very soon it was great to meet some new people, and although i didnt have any cake....it looked very nice!

im not sure what the protocol is for meets with regards to piccys, but heres one. thanks again to everyone - your a friendly bunch!

Sorry I couldn't make it today, but I'm saving up some "petrol tokens" for a long drive down to the McLaren Mercedes track at Brooklands in a couple of weeks.

Well I got the dates when we returned from holiday wrong. Wee came up the road yesterday!! And to be perfectly honest after driving from Manchester in that howler yesterday and putting up with all the numpties driving with foglights on when its raining I really couldnt face another romp down and up to Glasgow today so apologies for missing it but hope you all had a good day.

Must have been the silver Focus (?) on the other side of the railings - it is in at least two of your pics.
