Well done and looking good.
Let's hope you have some trouble free motoring. Cheers John l |

Thanks so much. I’m going to Lisbon airport and back tomorrow evening (mostly motorway, four hour round trip) so will get to grips with the ins and outs.
Like I said earlier in the thread having been a Range Rover Classic owner it will probably take me a while to relax into any new car. My first ever Volvo too! Is the interior some sort of special trim? , just that’s the only one with the wood I’ve seen during my entire search. |

I think it is the exec trim, as is the wheels, but I could be wrong.
I have never seen an xc90 with just five seats, but this may be a European option. But yours does appear to have a winter pack which you will love as winter sets in! All the best for your trip. |

Probably more to it and the cost of the seats may be prohibitive as well as availability of the part. |

If I could get the extra seats in I’d consider it of course. Only about half of the examples for sale here have seven seats, and half are manual. And almost none have sunroofs which I thought you’d want in a warm country.
Anyway, I’ve taken it round the tracks near my house and a full load to the dump and next a four hour round trip airport pickup so I’m certainly getting a lot out of it. Oh and I disabled the automatic door locking which was annoying me. |

Looks good - a facelift model, with the extremely reliable and simple Halogen headlamps
Relatively few options, but you have the good DynAudio sound system and the built-in car phone, which is a great thing to have. unfortunately, the phone is 1G/2G 900/1800 GSM, and doesn't work in my country any more - all the 2G was turned off this year
