Volvo Cam app on Apple App Store - Is it made by Volvo?

Quick question. There's an app on the app store called Volvo Cam by Tima Networks Inc.

Is this app produced by Volvo given it doesn't state it's produced by the Volvo Car Corporation?

Anybody used it? Is it safe in terms of security?

It is also available from the Play Store for Android. It is of Chinese origin, nothing at all to do with Volvo. Personally, I would not give it house (or car) room!

Yeah I think I have to agree, given that I wouldn't trust Huawei as far as I could throw them, giving a Chinese app access to the internal workings of my car volunterity doesn't seem like a sensible decision.

Then again, Volvo is owned by Chinese parents Geely!
