Question Engine cutting out.

Hi there,

My 2003 V70 SE MKII is cutting out when engine is still warming up, especially when stopping for zebra crossing and traffic lights or waiting to turn etc., very embarrassing, could it be the either of the oxygen, or both sensors or maybe the throttle body or sensor?
The car reports a 133 fault (slow response from oxygen sensors) but I recently replaced the bank 2 lambda probe and the bank 1 one was renewed a year and a half ago, both original Volvo. Plugs renewed recently as well.

Thanks chaps and chappettes, any advise greatly appreciated.

Rob

Sounds like the infamous throttle body problem. Cutting out coming to a stop almost a signature. Loads of stuff here about it.

My P1 V70 began doing this shortly after I bought it and a mates P2 also started to do the same. Both cases were cured with a squirt or two of carb cleaner and a toothbrush into the throttle body, took less the 5mins. on mine.My mate waited to see the outcome before doing his!
