V50 2.0D 2010 - Regenerating every couple of miles
Hi Guys, I have now reached a desperate point with my car, its a v50 2.0D 2010 and I have a problem where the car keeps going into regeneration mode, every couple of miles. This started a couple of weeks ago, so I changed the DPF as it was overdue, then it came up with the pressure sensor fault, so I changed that, and it ran great for a week, (about 500 miles). It has now started regenerating again every couple of miles. As you experienced owners will know, this is throwing diesel through to the sump at an unsustainable rate, and I have no clue what to do next.
I have changed the pressure sensor back to the old one (in a bid to get it to drive in limp mode and not regen for the weekend) but it appears to still do it. Does anyone have any ideas? There are no fault codes on vida other than the pressure sensor now |
