Volvo 164E for spares
Volvo 164E for spares
I have currently removed some bits from a 164E I bought for spares/rebuild but the compulsory purchase of my storage place means all my cars must go (as is happening to about 30 small businesses there). The car has a seized engine after bad storage, but with only 89K on the clock, the head is immaculate (perfectly clean oil on the dipstick). I have taken some bits to support my 164E, and put the immaculate seats in another car, but everything left on the rolling shell is available FOR FREE! Just fetch your spanners and help yourself - fancy a drive out this weekend? You can contact me on paultill@tesco.net or at my sons (who lives local) on 01903 730261 for details of location and timing, but rest assured it will otherwise be scrapped in the next ten days. Anything (well, almost....) to help other 164 enthusiasts. Did you still want an axle, John? Could winch it onto a trailer before you remove it, but it is a bit of a drive for you! Paul |

Paul,
Many thanks for the offer but I can't get down there in the next week, sorry! Great shame that you're losing the storage John |

Should anyone need any items stored until a more convenient time is available, I could help with this.
I live near Paul, have spoken with him a couple of times and have some space in my garage for a few weeks should anyone need. please PM me if this is of interest Tony |
