Default K24 Turbo and S70R manifold

Can anyone recommend who can refurb the turbo and do some work on the manifold too.
I’ve had Midland turbos recommended, anyone use them?

Now your the second to recommend Owen Developments, will take a look.
Got the turbo and S60R manifold both for £210 including delivery so don’t mind spending a bit on refurb and port and polish on the manifold.
Just need to get to bottom of engine noise, hoping it’s tappets and not bent rod!

I used turbo technics, have been great.
They were the only company that sounded keen on the phone, after sales has been really helpful too.

defo get that k24 rebuilt if you got it that cheap. the hot side will be cracked aswell, but will still function fine. is it a V band charge air out or the silicon hose style?

last one i had rebuilt cost £400+ for a brand new CHRA plus a ceramic coating on the hotside.

forget the manifold, gasket match the head

Skandix do a good German OEM standard turbo Recon and are far cheaper than Volvo, although they also stock gen Volvo parts.

It might be better to get a good Indy to order and fit parts if you want a valid warranty. A registered business can order ZF Sachs parts and they are very good in extended warranty terms beyond the UK one year guarantee.

Can't fault Owens for their customer service, I'd use them again without doubt.
