Default XC60 older model (MK2) wing mirror

Hi all,

Hoping for some help here we recently damaged our XC60 wing mirror on the passenger side. I took it to the garage and they want 700 for a new one!

Obviously that's crazy, so I'm hoping to source a 2nd hand one and fit myself. I'm not worried about the fitting process, more compatibility. Has anyone had success fitting wing mirrors for the same model, but with different parts numbers? My parts number (apparently) is 31371845. I'm not bothered about losing functionality such as the heated mirror or puddle light, I just want them to fold and the indicator to work.

Thanks!

If you do have to buy one new... when our XC60 headlight got smashed (by a low flying pheasant) Autodoc were about half the price of Volvo.

I've been searching eBay, many parts the app says would work but they have a different part number. I'm just curious if I by a similar mirror that looks identical, but has a different part number will experience any issues?

is the wing mirror not repairable? I'm sure you can buy the parts that are broken to make it functional again

Unfortunately not, had 2 garages say them same. It's not just the case and indicator, but the bottom bit which is part of the unit itself.
