Hi I stumbled across your conversion while looking for information on doing the same to my car,
My car is a Volvo 240 2.3 it's a 1991 H reg and the parts car I found is a J reg Volvo 940 turbo the list of parts I took so far is the complete engine including all parts bolted to it and all pipe work I've also taken the loom but I saw you said u don't need to change this if your car is a later model?? I've also taken the ecu

Would you be able to tell me what else I need or what I don't need to change

Thank you for your time

Steve

The downpipe, ecus, intercooler brackets and rubber feet and that's about it. You need to alter the downpipe slightly as documented, that's the trickiest bit. You can use the current 240 loom but don't forget the resistor pack for the turbo injectors.

Start a project thread, there's a few other guys on here that have turboed their 240s that will be willing to offer advice i'm sure.

what does the resistor pack look like!? I've basically taken everything from inside the 940 engine bay.

Hi rhoy, Volvo never sold a turbo 240 in the UK, I realise there were a handful (of kits) sold in Australia but not here, 240 turbo swaps are becoming quite quite popular here now.

EDIT, isn't it a shame that photobuckets greed has broken the internet
