Default Supercharging B20E

A supercharged B20 was posted on youtube by p18004fun showing a what sounds like a well installed supercharger: Lysholm twin screw supercharger and MaxxEcu Engine control. Max boost 1,5bar at 7000 rpm

http://youtu.be/YaCVY7vCxBY

He also has a video of it in action on the road:

Anyone familiar with these superchargers and engine controllers, someone mentioned a Swedish company Unitech? Looking to boldly go where someone else with a little more experience has already gone.

Thanks

These days, centrifugal superchargers such as rotrex or Vortech are all the rage (kind of a turbo/charger hybrid) as they are compact and easy to fit, although as your location states the US, im guessing you'd have much easier time finding an eaton/rootes type blower so beloved of your detroit iron

Once you've worked out how to hang it on the engine and run a drive pulley from the crank, its pretty much the same as any turbo conversion - just need aftermarket management that is capable of operating under boost conditions - not sure what's big in the states on that front - in the UK i'd recommend Emerald K6 or CANEMS, or go for a UNICHIP or AEM FIC if you plan to run standard management with a piggyback ECU

I doubt there are any "off the shelf" solutions tho
