Default P1800 project for sale (or consider swop)

despite having Penlope the P1800 for almost 2 years the project has never really took off & i haven't got the money to do 2 cars. She was made in 1965 (so tax exempt) & got a 1.8litre twin carb engine with 4speed with overdrive gearbox. It does need ALOT of work, i've already brought a pair of rear wheel arch repair panels, new passenger sill, new plastic headlight bowls, new Halegon headlights & many other bits.

As you can see in the video in the link it runs with no problems at all, the ignition barrel needs replacing (got a universal one ready to fit)
i'm after £500 ono with all the bits & the 18's shown in the picture, will consider swop for MOT'd car

Hi Simon,

i think the car is missing some minor things like boot lock, mirrors, rear numberplate light & dash clock (aren't they all) but can't think of anything else thats not with it

work wise, the main area is the bodywork. The rear arches & sill need fitting, drivers door has bubbled abit & a few other areas that will need patching. I've got 2 almost complete interiors but would still only use them to get retrimmed. All the electrics worked fine before i removed all the bits, except for the ignition key which i mentioned. The brakes & clutch don't work but both have got no fluid in so can't say how/what else is up with them

if you want a P1800 to put back to concours this isn't it, the B-pillars have been removed & placement for the front lights changed (ie indicators are now in the bumper, & sidelights built into the headlight). Also the previous owner filled an alloy petrol cap & removed the flap

many thanks Duane

Thumbs up P1800

Hi. I have a Nissan Micra, MOTed, TAXed, not immaculate due to a couple of dings, nothing major, 62000miles, runs on the smell of fuel as it's a 16 valve 1 litre cc. Are you Keen to talk? Alternatively, what wheels do you have on the P1800. I also have a couple Volvo classics? Thanks from Kassie 078 2887 9494

Hi Kassie,

thanks for the offer of the Micra but after someone suggested a 405 TD i've got my mind set on getting one of those now. The wheels in the picture are after market Fox RS's but i've also still got the original steels

many thanks Duane
