Clear lenses indicator bulbs
I have bought a set of clear front indicator lenses for the 940. What would be the best bulbs ? I've seen the silver ( flash orange ) I think Phillips ones as i think they might be better than orange bulbs
Cheers, Mark

I always prefer the chrome/silver flashing amber bulbs, because this avoids the 'fried egg' look that orange bulbs give in clear lenses. In fact, why change to clear lenses if you are still going to have orange bulbs?
Its usually one of the first mods I make when I change cars. I have so many spare orange bulbs now......

Box of 10 for under £4 :
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382Y-P21W...1YLb:rk:8:pf:0 Can't really see them through the lenses, despite the fact the lenses are clear because they're diffused so reduces the fried egg look. Alternatively you could go for orange LED indicator bulbs and dummy load resistors but the price is much higher. https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/col...5s-p21w-glb382 These allegedly don't need the dummy load resistor but worth a (free) phone call to check!
