My Cross Climates were fitted at the weekend & must say the road noise from the previous tyres is massively reduced.

They also had tons more grip on the very wet & muddy B roads around the North York Moors on Saturday.

Cross Climates fitted too and noticeable difference, particularly in pure electric mode, in terms of tyre noise

In reply to my own question, I'm not sure the ATR can be fitted to XC60

M&S doesnt actually mean they are suitable for winter use, it used to many many moons ago, but all it means today is that the tread is a bit more open for mild offroad use, ya know, like grass... I briefly had wanli tyres on a car I bought, pure summer tyres, very narrow grooves, smooth tread pattern, they proudly displayed M&S with the mountain symbol on the sidewall 😄 totally no use in either situation, not that I tried. (They did a grrat job of speeding me up once when I stood on the brakes in the wet! (A mini stopped in front of me, no brake lights...))

In for MOT last week and got an advisory on fronts as down to 3mm - asked what they could supply in all season, and reply was nothing ! They wouldn't be able to get anything !! Thought that a bit strange.

Been checking out the latest reviews and the new Continental All Season Contact getting very good reviews, better than Michelin Cross Climate overall. Prices look about similar ( about £125 delivered for 17", then will cost about £15 per corner to get them fitted ).

Anyone else on the Contis ??

Smile Cross Climates

Just replaced Continentals with 4 to 5 mm tread left
with Michelin Cross climates and quite a transformation
quite a bit quieter
Lighter steering(although I find most new tyres make steering lighter)
and much to my surprise a far better ride
not cheap at £548.00 but worth it
(Bought from ATS as includes a Amazon Echo in the deal)
