None of them. I think Volvo lost the plot in the late nineties, along with most manufacturers!
What the hell use is an estate car where the rear aperture is lower than the roof??? |

NONE thankyou. way too expensive to own and repair, they only have to throw up a light on the dash to tell you to start saving ready to take it in to have some spotty erk tell you it's going to cost an arm and a leg we will now stick to our two discoveries, they may be 15 and 19 years old but they keep going, are very cheap to repair, ( i do all my own repairs ) and are quite economical for two and a half tons of pulling power

If I was seriously wealthy a new volvo XC60. Saw a relatives and he had a new at the time XC60D5 in a bronze colour. He loved it and so did his wife.
I said to him if you trade up I'll have it only thing was everyone wanted it To be honest though I would rather keep the money and buy something a year or 2 old if buying nearly new or have a collection of cheaper cars. Let someone else have the depreciation. I have always liked the 780 bertone turbo petrol in red with cream leather interior. I really like my 240 GLT though so plan to drive this for as long as possible. James Last edited by volvo always; Feb 25th, 2013 at 23:03. |

Favourite Volvo by default.
For me Volvo is not an aspirational brand, so I have none Volvo-wise, but if I were to look at replacing our 2003 V70 it would be with an XC70 (by default my"favourite"Volvo).
Have never liked SUVs (since the term became commonly used here in the UK - only recently), and like even less the mini-me SUVs like RAVs, Freelanders, XC60s etc. And if I were to buy an SUV...it would be an American...Wagoneer, Suburban, Excursion, Explorer. Or perhaps an original Range Rover. Prufrock. |

It is a tough one.
Given the V60 boot opening is smaller than the V50 I'd have to have a V70 D5/T6... But... the electronic handbrake is an absolute no no so its a 530/535i touring for me thanks Shame really, I like my V50 D5.
