Default Lambda Sensor for a 240SE

My lambda sensor cable has parted - and most of it gone (I don't reckon to successfully separate, reconnect and recrimp the end at the sensor) - so I wonder if anyone has a spare they don't need, or a s/h one if they are scrapping a car ?

Many thanks -

Dan C

It would be worth making inquiries, whether this is a "standard" component used also in perhaps later Volvo models? You might get one from a later model Volvo from a scrap yard? A helpful Volvo dealer parts department might be able to advise you on that point.

Grab a sensor from a 940 that's being broken, but also get the person to cut you off the connector on the 940 loom and then splice that into the 240 loom.

240 and 940 lambda sensors have different connectors but the 940's is a better design and the sensors are far more plentiful than 240 ones
