Default Christmas wish

So,.after seing à s90 redesign in white... I am convinced this is the best looking car around right now.

So,. As it is Christmas.

Mr Volvo,

Can you please sort the sensus rubbish,
Can you sort out some sound proofing around the wheel arches
Can you please give us a decent engine petrol engine with a mild hybrid system a la Prius ... To keep mpg reasonable and price it reasonably?

For both engine and sensus replacement, make it simple. I do not need a t8 with 600bhp at 100k. This is 2018 and speed camera controlled everything.

Finally, can you please move the production back to sweden,? A Volvo should be build in Sweden... Btw, putting a swedish flag on the front seat of a car build in China is debatable.

And finally, can we make a 2 door one. A 2 should be £5000 premium max...not this no sense of your bollockstar seen lately for £150m. Looks very similar to the 4 door... But 2 doors. Look at the 80s for inspiration, the 262, the Merc w123 could

If this comes true, I will be ordering in 2018.

Nothing too outlandish with your Christmas list...
Particularly the mild hybrid request.
Here's hoping you get what you want.

Agreed. Mild hybrid plus a pure electric. Both will have better range and better mpg due to lower weight than current T8 with the same tech. Price one at 90 and on at 60. That would kill the diesel though.

A 200mile overweight hybrid that can only achieve 30mpg for full range is a silly choice.

By 'mild hybrid' I assume you mean a regen, not plug-in? (I think early Prius was plug in, later ones are regen).

I had Lexus regen, and while it was fun watching the screen show which system was driving the car, EV mode was very restricted, max distance in pure EV - when available- just a mile or so on a good day.

I never got more than late 30s mpg in the 18 months I had it, whereas I get mid to late 40s from my oil burner C70, which notwithstanding the extra weight of the Lexus batteries, is an extremely heavy car.

Where the Lexus did score, and I only found this out in the last week I had it, was in sport mode, with a heavy right foot, it went like stink (whatever stink goes like!), as both the petrol and lecky motors combined to give approx 220 bhp. But mpg suffered alarmingly.

I'm still not sold on hybrid, certainly regens, but if my Premium Bonds come up, I'll be in the queue for a Tesla......
