Smile Exhaust centre piece hanger, round not oval

Hi everyone. My garage couldn't source a new hanger for my exhaust, it's for the centre piece, round not oval they said. Parts fitted in the past by exhaust centres seem to be pretty rubbish, I have had my exhaust fall off or down every couple of years with great regularity which is why I am now letting my garage manage the exhaust! I suspect that welding was needed at one stage but the exhaust centres didn't weld they bodged! Cheers!

Cheapest on ebay in the UK:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275915594401

Volvo part number 1332325.

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/spares-search?keyword=1332325

A garage is pretty crappy if they can't source a bracket like this.

Cheers Baggy.
I suspect they were full on busy and didn't have time to try very hard!

Cheers Baggy. Autodoc said it doesn't fit my Volvo either by car reg or details, bought the eBay one. Hope this isn't a duplicate post, can't see my original. Did you get my pm?

The centre silencer is always round. The rear silencer is oval.

For doing low mileage in a 940 you really need a stainless exhaust, the acids in the exhaust water tend to eat through mild steel OEM exhausts in about 2 years in my case. With higher mileage this get dried out and is much less of a problem.

Default Stainless steel

Even with higher mileages (15K miles/year) and running (cleaner) LPG, my carbon steel exhausts tended to last 3 or 4 years. Apperantly the nowadays material quality is worse than it used to be.
I have invested in a SS exhaust last year. Double the price, but in the end cheaper (I hope)...
