Unhappy Theres no fog light connection on one side

Hi folks

I just noticed my NSF fog light not working, so i ordered a new bulb, as ya do, just got back from the car and i am dumbfounded,no wonder its not working, no bulb, no bulb holder, it also took me a minute to find the harness for it, lo and behold, no connector on it either.

So as you can imagine, i have been ebaying for the last hour and i am struggling to find what i need, i dont need the fog light, thats there and looks ok, i have found this, is this what i need for the bulb to fit and stay in? even though i already bought the blooming bulb, 2 of lol..... Its just the connector from the loom now, advice please?

Volvo fit only fog lamps on the driver's side of the vehicle
Have done so for decades
The other side is a reflector only.

Some cars for other markets were fitted with x2 fog lamps, so parts are available from Volvo to do the conversion.

I'm really not sure why UK spec vehicles have only one lamp when two are allowable and arguably a safer option.

The continental Europeans argue the opposite: that a single fog lamp is safer, as you can distinguish between fog lamp (1) and brake lamps (2)

Where I live we have fog days sometimes and in fog on the motorway you really notice a single fog lamp vs dual brake lamps

I wondered about that. OP did state NSF and image is of a front fog lamp bulb, but his description of not finding bulb holder etc sounds like rear to me.

Hi folks, I did put NSF and the link to ebay says NSF, am i missing something?

There is something clearly missing from the front that would hold the bulb, the ebay link shows that the bulb sits in a holder, granted, thats for a 2008> (i didnt realise that till now) but it seemed to fit with my hand book, twist and pull out....

I also bought these that are for my year, these look like they sit in something too, could be wrong, wouldnt be the 1st time lol

Get that, but in the UK (and possibly EU) foglamps must be separated from the brake light by a minimum of 100mm (and be lower), also since 1996 passenger cars are required to have three brake lights.

The topic of single rear fog lights comes up about once a year hence we somewhat jumped on it....

The fronts have always had two, and now it is a MOT requirement that if they are fitted the must work.

Any idea of a solution to the issue, I can figure out in my head what is actually missing, and I can't install vida as I'm on Windows 10 :/
