Default 850 T5 Remaps

Been a long time since I was active around the 850 T5 tuning world, my experience basically ends around the time when arguments about the relative merits of RICA vs MTE were "the thing".

I'm setting out on doing a few bits and pieces to my 850 and it seems rude not to give it a nice stage 1 map. I'm not after big power or anything like that, just something to wake it up a bit.

I had a RICA 304 back in the day and did enjoy the aggressive power delivery, as long as the roads were dry that is.

What's the accepted wisdom on maps these days? The 850 is a second car so if I need to package up and send off the ECU that's no problem.

The engine is in fine fettle with PCV done and all the plugs and filters sorted so it's ready to go.

Cheers,
John

I would go straight to Shem, If you look him up in Newark Shemtek Automotive Solutions. He has tonnes of experience mapping your car and tuning your car.

If you decide to go any further he would be able to help as well.

Thanks, that’s a name I remember from the old days!

I guess the old “big name” players have all exited the market now? Can’t be huge demand for old school chip tuning these days.
