Default Discount on lpg kits?

Hello,

Im new to this forum but ive just bought a phase 2 v40 t4 and i intend to be around for a while!

Ive been keen on lpg as I have a citroen berlingo van with an autogas kit and have been looking around for the best price kit now that it seems to have dropped from 2K for the conversion.

I stumbled upon these guys www.professautogas.co.uk on ebay who offer autions and the price u win at is the price u pay for the kit fitted in 1 day. There based in south wales and ive been emailing them and they seem very helpful with alot of posotive feed back and testomials.
After speaking to them i have brokered a deal were as they would be willing to do a set discounted price for the kit fitted for 3 or more of the same model car booked and paid for at the same time. Fitting is one day and as long as 3 or more of us booked saying we are part of the package and arrange and pay straight away and get our booking date we are possibly looking at getting a 4 cylinder kit rated up to 300bhp for under £900?

I know im new and this is a bold step to suggest, me being a new member and all, but im a great beliver in sticking my neck out to save money for me and other people. So I ask, is there any other v40/s40 owners here who would be intertested in doing this and then maybe getting a club discount from these guys?????

Sounds a tiddy bit too good to be true - everything's great till they claim it can be done in a day. That is a bit optimistic, and makes you wonder if they'll be as neat and tidy as you'd want, when just about every other LPG conversion fitter needs the car for 2 or even 3 days.

For my money I'd rather have it right than done in a rush?

Cheers

Jack

The chap who deals with my lpg takes around 4-5 days, He only fits BRC equipment which is very good quality. He knows his stuff and does a proper job. Plus the after care is very good. You are best to try some where local in case you have any issues. Cheap usualy means out dated equipment which is not what you want with gas. Maybe try looking for a factory fitted bi-fuel if you can find one.

I have had a lot of pictures of there work emailed to me and it is quite shamefull. 1 day is not enough time to do good quality conversion.

Anyway it was quite a while ago the last time I'd had a customer coming to complaining about them so maybe things have changed. I'd ask to see some of there work before going ahead.

They are cheap as we charge £1100 for a 4 cylinder multi point injection conversion. Our extra cost will probably be done to the extra labour time getting the install very neat and the car well set up.

Take a look at the LPG forum lpgforum.co.uk
