What alloys to get for SE LUX white

Hi guys

Just ordered my MY2014 SE LUX D4 AWD from the dealership in Glasgow today!!! September i believe is my delivery date. Gone for white with Winter Pack with Bending Lights.

What has everyone gone for with their alloys? I went with the 18 Pan, the 'safer' option the dealer said because the diamond cut alloys are harder/more expensive to have repaired. After i placed the order, have been looking at the brochure again and really prefer the 18 Zephyrus or 18 Ixion and think i might change.

Any thoughts? Or other suggestions?

I went for Zephyrus, +£75 option. Happy with choice, easy to clean.

Do you know if it is possible to get them refurbed should i damage them - the dealer seems to think it would be quite difficult to do

Two years on and I have got a small bit of damage to one of the wheels
the rest are fine. Haven't as yet enquired as to cost or if it is possible for repair.

I would choose them again if I go for my14 car

Clearly a single colour would be easier to refurb than two-colour ones. It didn't come into my consideration.

I have the same as Westyman and my car is white. I think they look great. The tyres are quite a large profile so should help protect them

I went for the pan alloys as well

Was not sure on the diamond cut ones the cars I have had with that
Type of wheel have had bad little worm type lines appear from very
Small chips or damage
Do like the standard ones but will need winter tyres

Sort of related; for some reason I think 5-spoke wheels look better than 6-spoke. Can't comment above 6 as I can't count that far....
I know I have 6 with the Zephyrus and they're fine but 5-spoke just look better to me. No idea why.

have gone with the 18" Zephyrus - the Ixion were not available in the 18" unless i went for R Design. Glad i changed.

Roll on September for delivery....
