It's a real shame that no-one makes an aftermarket wastegate actuator for the T5 engines, although mine is wound up, I don't think it works as it was intended to any longer.
My Saab 9000 had a fully serviceable Forge wastegate actuator with different srping options, it was also a TD-04. Forge will make one up for you, but I expect you'd have to send them your turbo and it would be $$$.

Hi Russ Any clues as to the updates?... It would be nice to know if RICA have recognised any issues with the origional 304 Map... Somehow the Cynic in me doubts RICA spends too much effort on "old Banger" 850' lol............. Cheers Jod

Andy, I never had a problem, neither did loads of mates who also had them. Not that I'd trust the results from Dastek, but the guy who bought my car got 320bhp there and that was not with some dodgy bleed valve.

Fair enough maybe it was just mine that was faulty...., tbh I have never liked bleed valves, mbc's so try and avoid them.
