XC90 D5 Starting Problems When Warm
Anyone else have/had this problem? I've got a 163BHP, manual D5 - only done 10K - starts fine from cold - when I start from warm/hot the engine sort of half fires, runs really badly for 10 seconds or so and then stalls - restarting then appears to be fine. It does this really regularly. Volvo dealer says "cannot find anything wrong..." ;-(
Thanks Mike |

Have your dealer replace the EC chip for air flow - when air filter is dirty it will affect this EC.

Not caused by tuning box I hope ? Was going to look at one you recommended, but if you're having problems....

Not caused by tuning box ;-)
Took it in to have a fuse replaced this week and they 'upgraded the software' - whatever that means - everything seems fine now - just need to re-fit the tuning box to get some 'oooommphh' back in it.. |
