I see Brendan has a Wayfarerer, I've got the smaller Wanderer, had a fantastic sail up the River Colne in Essex last Friday from Brightlingsea to the pub at Rowhedge, very enjoyable. What a great tow car a Volvo makes! Had to laugh, I don't really pay much attention to most cars unless they are old or unusual, but when I first got my present V70, I went to Levington marina for a play on the river, when I back I had the problem of choosing which of the 4 silver V70's was mine from the four parked ones I could see! |

I've enjoyed previous years with a very friendly club sailing dinghies on a handicap system, but I've spent most of this year in another club crewing on a keelboat, racing in a one design class basis I think is so much better. Now the ultimate goal is to combine one design and planing.... My apologies to the OP for continuing the hijack of his excellent thread! |
