VOC and Vodafone SIM
Hi,
New car delivered on Monday after a six week delay. VOC is activated and can unlock and lock car and start/stop engine. However, no temperature is shown on the home screen, and the lock/unlock status etc are the same, ie nothing, any ideas?? Also, the Vodafone SIM refuses point blank to connect to the internet. I’ve entered the APN, but instructions state I need to register an account with Vodafone in order to activate the SIM, however, you need to connect to the car hotspot to get the activation to work, it refuses to do so via house WiFi or 4G, but given the SIM won’t connect that’s impossible. Anyone have any pointers on how to get it to work?

VOC app diagnostics show my car has been available since (null). It must be talking to the VOC servers otherwise the remote start/locking wouldn’t work?

I couldn't get mine to work from an iPhone, but as soon as I took a laptop out to the car and did it from that, no problems at all. I think I read somewhere else there was an issue with Safari.

My VOC app on my old Samsung Galaxy tab is not showing the temperature at car either, I think this has been like that for a while. The temperature is showing on my Samsung galaxy phone app and on my newer Galaxy tab, my old device will not take the voc app updates so it may be due to that.
Edit Having just said that I accessed the app again on my old Galaxy tab and the temperature in now there, (after accessing it on my phone)

Yeah tried all that, SIM isn’t working so dealer sending me another. I connected car to house WiFi and updated Volvo ID app in Sensus, all info correct. Uninstalled VOC app on phone, reinstalled but still only partial info.
I tried the laptop trick with the SIM, but given that it won’t connect that failed as well. I’ll await new SIM and try again. Thanks guys and gals.

So VOC all working now. Waiting on a new SIM to see if I can get that working.
