Default XC90 2016 MY - hungry for brake pads?

Hi All,

Have been going through the service docs for our XC90 that we bought last July. Was 3.5yrs old at that point, with 60k on the clock. I can see from the invoices, that it has had new front and rear pads at service 1 (18k), service 2 (36k) and Service 4 (60k - this one was 6mths early as I got the dealer to do it before we bought it).

Is this normal, given the above average mileage? Without wanting to second guess how it was driven, I think the previous owner lived somewhere relatively rural in Wales, so I think the majority of its miles weren't motorway miles and therefore a bit harder on the brakes. Only guessing though.

Thanks!

I had to replace my rear pads at about 18k, the front are lasting a bit longer, I have 20k on them and expect to get another 3 or 4k from them, pilot assist, adaptive cruise and auto park brake tend to take their toll from the rear pads.
The previous owner may have decided just to do both sets at the same time even when there was some mileage in the front pads.
