Impressive, nice one!

I bought the P* upgrade while it was on special offer last year. Better mid range acceleration and I get better MPG driving "normally". It seems to be the gearbox logic which is better. I don't notice much improvement from a standing start...

What is the cost of the upgrade, have seen it somewhere recently but can't remember. Got an R design due this week and maybe contemplating this. Thanks

I paid £680 (down from ~£900 according to the offer email) for my XC90 T6 Inscription.

Dutchbird, thanks - do you know how do we get access to that offer? I have looked on the site but maybe it's something you only see if you are fully paid up, which I've not done yet... Thanks!

Eventually the nice lady came back and said she was really sorry (and very surprised) to report that their underwriters will not insure anything which has its power increased at all, no matter how little the amount like here.

I had better look at the options...!
That's odd from Direct Line. I'm with them on an old style XC90 (MY11) with polestar and am paying £190 this year. The documents clearly state the engine is chipped with a power increase of below 12% (185 to 205). It was set up nearly 3 years ago (when it was £155) and renewed each year so maybe they don't take new policies?

Some other quotes were just silly however...

Interesting. Maybe because I am in a higher risk zone (?) a different underwriter is underwritingthe policy, and mine isless able to be flexible and uncheck the "boy-racer" box in their mind/computer!

Which dealership agreed to do this at that price? I can't see explicit mentions of polestar in members area. It would be a lot more palatable at that price. Would pay for 10 years of VOC subs.
