G/box: 164 Auto: - gearbox compatability

hello all, which gearboxes are compatable with a 164 b30 engine? i have been told that a box out of a 264 will bolt up, is this true?
any info will be much appreciated

In short - no! Bell housings and torque convertors are different. Basically as far as I'm aware its the 164 box only.
