What a time warp car.
That engine bay is exceptional. Obviously do what you like, but I suppose if it was me I'd keep that one in its immaculate stock state, and I'd put the turbo engine and suspension mods etc into a high-miler with a reasonable body whose engine and running gear was tired and knackered. Either way - will look forward to seeing what you do, and all the best, John |

I seem to have divided peoples opinions! I understand with the argument of keeping it standard and vice versa. My thinking is, if it was an early car then I wouldn't dare think of modding it. But as it is a later spec car, it's not as rare, it's "only" a GL and if all mods are bolt on reversible then I don't see the issue.
The mods would be simple things like, better shocks & springs, wheels, possibly a stainless steel exhaust with a 4 branch manifold. and if all goes well and the purist don't kill me a 5 speed manual conversion with possibly a 2.3 N/A or b230fk/t way later on down the line. At the moment with Xmas coming up quickly, I will simply be enjoying the car as it is. |
