tovlov 2003 V40 1.9 diesel S Last Online: Feb 23rd, 2018 16:10 Join Date: Dec 2014 Location: south scotland	Drop link replacement V40 1.9 tdi 2003. Replaced both drop links today thanks to Gatos' 2012 guide. Found it with original pictures here: http://www.volvohowto.com/how-to-rep...o-s40-and-v40/ My old links had size 17 spanner and needed an Allen key not torx and the new Meyle ones were size 15 spanner and also Allen key. Was a "relatively" straight forward job. It helped to have both wheels off the ground and on stands, which meant the link threads were all in the right alignment and didn't need the arm jacked up.
