Default Volvo v40 stuttering while driving

Hello, i have 1996 Volvo V40 2.0 petrol 103kw.
Im having problem, that car is stuttering while driving. It happens in any gear and when im holding gas pedal in 1 position, it stops stuttering when i release gas or press it to the floor. When driving in city only, there is almost no stuttering, but when in highway or coming from highway to city, it starts stuttering like crazy.
Cannot connect any diagnostic tool at the moment, because there is not coming any power to OBD.

Hoping that someone had similar problem or can give any lead what to check.

Is it stuttering in only one particular position or in any position provided the gas pedal is held still?
Is it possible that the throttle position sensor has a "dead" spot on the resistance track?
When the slider contact sits on the dead spot the engine is getting a terribly wrong amount of fuel, which would make the engine loose power and thus causing a stutter.

Sorry, forgot that thread.
It was TPS sensor, changed it (costed me only 10 euros) and it runs well now and takes less petrol
Thank you guys
