Not yet, but it would certainly make sense. When the map went on at first, the car was great, but perhaps it quickly finished off the original intercooler.

I know a local place who do pressurised smoke testing.

Hi,
I decided to fit a 3.5mm audio jack socket in to the top off my ecu by drilling a hole, then wiring one wire to ground and the other to pin 24 of the flash rom, I then used a cheap push button switch and about 3meters of twisted wire soldered on to the push to make switch, then covered in heat shrink at the switch, and a jack plug on the other end, so now i can flash the ecu in boot mode in the car, without having to remove the ecu and putting it on the bench,
i wish that i had done this along time ago, so any changes i now want to do, i just plug in the switch/lead, it saves a lot of time, and yes i connect up a psu/charger as the voltage does drop when flashing when the ecu is flashed in the car,
Dave

Sorry Dave, just noticed this.

Car still not at its best, but after all checks carried out last autumn, all seems to be well except the IC.

Noticed in the past few weeks that its getting worse under boost. I suspect this is due to the boost pressure dropping.

Looking underneath the front end now definitely tells me that the IC has a leak.

No worries about the corrosion on the front sub frame for sure !

The do88 one has come down a little since I originally looked, so still thinking of this one...
