What headlights have you got? The pre-facelift ones have a small Gortex panel in the cap on the back to allow the unit to breathe & reduce condensation.

Where the glass meets the plastic housing, there is a thin long plastic cover. Remove it, then use some outdoor rated silicon to cover the seam from one end to the other as far as you can reach. There are also a few tabs, try to toss them to spread silicone underneath. Only at the top of the headlight needs be done.

I also have condensation in the near side headlight. My temporary solution is to remove the lamp cover in the engine bay, until such times as I remove the headlight in order to replace the Hid D2R bulb. This will, I hope, give me the opportunity to clear any drain/vent holes, that I believe exist.-- 2003 D5 V70

I took the rear cover off and used a heat gun on the glass, lightly, to dry it out. Did this a couple of times and it seems to have done the trick.

An 8mm hole drilled into each of the Black removable caps has worked on my previous V70 and my current XC70. If it is heavily condensated then you need to ensure that each headlight unit is dried out completely but once done it should remain clear once vented.
