Default B230FK 2.3l LPT engine & N/S electric wing morror want

Hi,
Anyone got a redblock 2.3L FK engine (either complete or short) they can spare? The rings on one cylinder of mine have worn so badly there is a severe loss of compression....
Replacement rings seem to be costing £100, and I need new bearing shells as well at another £100 + gaskets + probably a re-bore & pistons....

I also need an electric N/S wing miror glass & probably the motor for my other 940 - black is fine if it means a whole unit.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi,

I'm finally having to give up on my 940 wagon project due to ill health. Therefore my 2.3 LPT lump is up for sale.

It's currently on the engine stand - ready to begin my stripdown for the supercharger conversion. It was removed from a running MOT failed car by the PO, and when I send pix you will see how clean and leak free it is. It's always been dry stored and turned over frequently. Turns freely and has good compression. It hasn't been dismantled yet as I am now giving up. It is complete as removed with intake and exhaust - see pix. NO dizzie as I was going to convert to old style points dizzie for the supercharger conversion.

I only made the decision to cull my 940 project this week and was going to advertise the engine, car and parts soon.

Let me have an e-mail address and I'll send you some pix if you are interested.

I'll get engine ident off the block tomorrow.
