Like I said I've mentally written mine off till mid-Jan so if it comes any sooner it will be a pleasant surprise. Luckily mine is not replacing an existing lease otherwise I'd probably be slightly less tolerant of the situation.

Regarding the plate, I wouldn't read too much into that - if it's anything like BMW they register all leases centrally so they end up using a few letters for them, TRZ is one, I forget the other.

Yeah, I just went in - they're saying 29th of December collection is what it says on the system now, but officially Volvo tell you a week later (6th of Jan) to avoid disappointment (Hmm!) - however the finance manager said they'd give me a loan car if it isn't here on the 29th. We'll see.

What I don't understand is how it's so vague - I design speakers for a living and have production in Malaysia and China, when we have a container come over it's usually 4 weeks on the water and we know the day it is scheduled to arrive into port from the start; Why don't Volvo seem to know where their bloody cars are?!!

Ordered my S90 April only received last week. My dates changed numerous times but worth the wait lovely car! Just waiting to get a new ecu map!

And yes they are made in China not Sweden which was confirmed by the Volvo dealer when I told him I could make it quicker!

So despite my car definitely, *definitely* arriving at the dealer today and being delivered tomorrow (or Sat, maybe), the dealer checked the compound this morning and - amazingly - the car wasn't there. So now it's going to arrive by the end of the next week. Definitely. Probably.

I’ve ordered a XC60 supposedly picking up on the 4th Jan, car is at Immingham now. Dealer rang me this morning to say that they have had an email from Volvo stating that due to the weather they are having difficulties delivering vehicles and cannot guarantee delivery dates. So I will just have to wait and see.

Same here, I get a loan car from them tomorrow if it's not here - the concern for me is that no-one knows where these cars are? This is 2017, there is no reason not to know where a ship, a container or whatever is. I appreciate it's not the dealer's fault as they're just looking at screens but still...
