Volvo 855 tdi no power.
Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I have a 855 tdi auto which seems to have got slower and slower over the past few months to the point of being not far off undriveable. I have used a scanner on the car with no codes present. The turbo is ok. I have checked vac hoses, intercooler hoses and maf is ok. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there Clan. I have opened the top of the air mass meter up and moved the track under the swinging mechanism across a couple of mm already. I have tried 2 other maf's and nothing changed.

Have you checked the hose to the map sensor? It comes off the end of the inlet manifold to the map sensor that's located by the drivers side strut tower.

Yes that's the one , The Air mass meter doesn't have any adaption to compensate for wear / deterioration so the signal gets less and less as years go on delivering less and less fuel . You notice it more when pulling away from rest . A new air mass meter transforms it ..

Hi there. I last changed the fuel filter about 100 miles ago. I’ve tried 3 different air mass meters and no change also.
