Strange bleeping - Page 2

Re press 1etc., yes, the number of times you press the button.
I have a tow bar, but it isn’t the Volvo official loom. I suspect the official loom recognises when a trailer is connected, but mine certainly beeps if I press it twice.....

Pressing it twice just turns it on then off?

Pressing it twice will turn the car light on and then off, but it will also turn the trailer light on and then leave it on with a beep. Which is the noise that the OP is hearing....
