Default What fault code reader

I sold my S60R a few years ago along with the BSR PPC code reader , I regretted selling the car ever since ,
I will be looking for another S60R/V70R next year and wondering what’s the best code reader for a Volvo theses days , something I can check a potential purchase with without the hassle of VIDA and a laptop.

Hi I do use vida, but I have also got a icarsoft 906 reader , that is made for reading just Volvo modules , I find it very good, and they do have updates for it some times, also it does read std obd2 codes, you can not change any settings on the car with it, but it is very good, I leave it in the car,
Dave
