I'm looking for a very good estate. Preferably with a B20 and overdrive.

I'd prefer an exceptionally nice original car. ie No rot in the roof, steel wings, perfect wing mounts.

I'll consider cars that have been in long term storage and need re commissioning, or have a blown engine or even something that needs paint. I can add overdrive if need be myself. This is primarily about the body.

I'm after an exceptional body shell, I'm not interested in scaggy welding, filler hiding horrors, non documented restorations or basket cases.

Perhaps this sounds like I want a project. I would prefer a ready to go car, sound in wind and limb, but I don't want to be too restrictive.

i tend to find these are little gems!! very practical and anyone that has a good one would tend not to part with them sad but true there so nice when done right ...

i would find one thats needing some work done and at end of day you will know you have a good one just make sure you do the figures and allow for some welding and a very good paint job so you spend the right amount your looking to spend.

you will have a awsome practical car then i know it maybe not what your after but you will find a half decent one out there im sure some TLC some money and bingo ! you will be in the gang then and will not part with it for love nor money till really pushed into a corner

i wish you all the luck and do hope you find a half decent estate my fingers are crossed for ya !

David's is an early car on a B plate but has a later type front panel and grilles as many of them do. So, Peter, if you have an early front end stashed away it could be restored to one of a few proper old style estates.

It looks quite nice but I don't really like the early cars, ideally I want a '67. Not that I'm fussy of course;-)

Or one of the uber rare 1970 dual circuit estates, I've only ever seen 2 real ones.......

Those early interiors just don't do it for me.
