Engine and auto box in good working order. Took it off the road a year ago to replace the leaking steering rack but couldn’t get the old one off. I have the used rack I bought off eBay that will come with the car but please note, the car is partly dismantled (I put it back together just enough to get the wheels on and roll it out the garage) However all parts/bolts to put it back together will come with the car. It is also SORN with no MOT so will need trailering away (although you may be able to drive it on to the trailer if you’re careful).

Exterior is solid but with some scratches and marks. Interior is mostly good but does have a seam come apart on the driver’s seat. All the electrics work to my knowledge. You can run the engine and I can move the car back and forward a few feet to show the gearbox working but that’s it, as the steering rack is disconnected one side and some of the subframe bolts are out so it's not safe to move any more than that as it stands.

One last thing, the car doesn’t come with a battery. There is one on there as it stands but this is borrowed from one of my other cars. I’ll leave it on so you can see the car running and to maybe help manoeuvre it on the trailer, but I will need to take it back off once it’s loaded.

Strictly spares/repairs, sold as seen. Looking for £200. Collection from Swindon, Wilts SN1. As mentioned, it will need to be trailered.

I’ll add some photos tomorrow.

I realised I forgot to take a photo of the engine bay, plus the battery was flat again so I couldn't get one of the odometer. I haven't got time to put it on charge right now so here are the photos from when I bought the car:-

The engine looks pretty much the same now, just with a couple of bolts removed from the top engine mounting where I lifted the engine up for better access to the rack.

The mileage will be slightly more than shown now but not much, probably around 141,000 at a rough guess.

I could do with it gone asap as I need the drive space. A local scrapyard would give me £150 and take it tomorrow but I think that would be a shame. It's a cheap fixer-upper for someone with the time/inclination to replace the rack, or the engine runs particularly well so would make a good donor for replacement/upgrade, or if you have space to store it (and a sympathetic spouse ), it could be an endless supply of parts to keep another car on the road.
