Volvo remanufactured parts - anyone tried it before?

When you do repair work at dealer, can you choose using the remanufactured parts? How much cheaper is its?

I'm looking at an AC compressor here, I think a displacement value may need changing, but I suspect they would might want to change the whole compressor as their labour at £140 an hour makes any diagnostic /repair work uneconomical....
