Default 07 C30 slight judder/ hesitation at 40mph

Hi all

I've got a lovely little C30 2.0D, 2007. It drives great, but sometimes when doing around 40mph in 4th (not accelerating, just cruising) it develops a slight judder/ stutter/ hesitation. As soon as I accelerate it goes. Some days worse that others.

Any ideas what I could check?

If you do a steady 40 in 3rd, 5th or 6th is it the same? When did you last have new tyres/get the wheels balanced/check your tracking?

My best guess would be misshapen tyres or the wheels need balancing. If the tread is low or the tyres look old maybe a fresh set might be an idea if budget allows, followed by checking the tracking. Let us know how you get on.

OK thanks, thinking about it now, I think the tyres are a lot more worn on the inside edge... I'll get them checked.... thank you for your help Markos01
