N.B Volvo won the DTM in 1985 and the ETCC in 1986.

Theres no mention of whats happening on the Saturday! Both Friday night and Saturday nights entertainment and Sunday is mentioned twice but not Saturday day. As it is I'm working on the Sunday but I am planning on trying to get down for Saturday, maybe even Friday and Saturday.

Which is no help to non-members on the forum!

If the club want people to attend (and ideally sign up for membership) then they need to sell this event. Perhaps a change in format is needed so that rather than just using the Calender which some people will probably never look at (I know that as I'm one of them), we should have official VOC meets with the National, Northern and Southern BKV being the first events listed, and than another section for other meets that are organised. That way everybody has the chance to see what is going on.

As you are a VOC member I was answering your question...don't have a go at me chum...or did you need an excuse for a rant?

No, like Foggy I'm a bit dismayed at the lack of information on here and the lack of interest that this event generates. Mainly I'm angry at myself as for the past 2 years after missing it, I have vowed next year is the year I will go. That is why even if I can't make the Sunday due to work, I want to come down for the Saturday. As I'm at work I can't check through the mag, but tomorrow I'll bring it in with me and post it all up! It was something I had already considered doing before you suggested it.

At the end of the day this forum is run and owned by the club, so why don't we use it's full potential to promote it?
