I'm not one that will rant quickly but now is a moment:

I still can't comprehend why some threads (mainly the ones concerning VOC events) always end up in some mud slinging/complaining

VOC (BKV) events are in first place for VOC paying members, everyone else is still welcome to come and join like mentioned by Nigel and obviously there is a option to join. I was reading along for 4 years before i finally joined and i have been to BKV's as a non member, just showing up and parking in between. Never been a issue.but don't expect the same "perks" as the VOC members.

i agree with the mention that the forum can be more organised but don't forget this takes time. Maybe time for a suggestion section so that members and admins can streamline the forum so it works for everyone (that's the whole idea about a online community, it will have to evolve continues to be able to keep up with demands/needs).

Providing general information can be better i agree, some events are flooded with info (relevant or not) and others seem some what neglected. but again is a point of improvement same as what we had with the judging catagories at the South BKV.

I'll be there weather permitted (don't fancy a rainy day at a lake...i already live in Brighton)

I'm planning to do a sun dance with the local Druids!

I intend to come in my 1800S. I think it is interesting to be with other owners even if you don't wish to have your car judged and are a VOC member.

Well I see the annual rumpus over the BKV runs to even more pages this year - what a surprise.

Look chaps, go, don't go - up to you really - but it is always, in the end, a great event and I for one am extremely glad to be back at it this year. (Had to miss last year's - family stuff sadly).

To the critics, however, I do say, just back off a bit, just because you don't like it please don't try and put others off.

I'll be there, come rain or shine in the 265 and I look forward to meeting up with old mates from here, and making new ones as ever.

Not long now!

I'll be there from the Saturday PM, it looks like the rain won't come in until after the judging on the Sunday so that shouldn't put a dampner on things.

Planning attending the rally over the weekend, camping on Saturday night. *Do we just need to report to Dave on arrival, or do we need to book with the site first?

As far as I understand, and going on how it's been the last few years, rock up, throw the tent up, and break open a drinky.

That's my plan, anyway!
