  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Hard to tell, but looks as if the reflectors themselves are not blacked? Presume you are 'dechroming'? e.g. the aftermarket grill? If so are you going to deal with the (rather nasty) chrome/stainless mirror backs?

Seeing as an MOT tester has given his advice I won't bother but I'll add even if a tester did pass it, it doesn't mean it is legal and a traffic cop could issue a prohibition and hefty fine. you should also ask your insurance company what they think to you altering the light output.

Any tester passing those altered reflectors would most likely find themselves on the receiving end of a DVSA visit .Many people do not know a tester can aquire penalty points & too many can lead to suspension from testing or total ban for life

DVSA take a very firm stance against poor testing methods / incorrect fails / passes
