Default Heater core

Over the last two days my windows have been steamed up dreadfully on the passengers side, and I haven tbeen able to clear it.

I checked all three scuttle drains, door drains, AC drain tube, and evaporator only to find those were not the source of it. Pulling up the carpet and removing the side panels made the leak plain as day and it seems my heater core has failed at the plastic join, as they all seem to do eventually.

Volvo wants stupid money for this (£150) but good quality aftermarket brands like Nissens and Hella are available for more like £40. I am wondering if anyone has experience with the aftermarket brands and so could recommend one to purchase.

Cheers,
Cookeh
